To keep them safe in winter, frogs eat all the meals for once and then get themselves underground. Frogs come back on the ground when they feel that the weather is normal for them.

I mean to say, in summer frogs come back on the surface of earth that’s why we can see frogs in summer but not in winter. Frogs usually eat small insects. The eyes of frogs are shaped in such a way that they can easily rotate their eyes in all directions. They like insects as their meal. A female frog is ready for breeding at the age of 3 years. Frogs can also give birth to babies in water. Frog babies can survive inside the water till adults.

They can also lay eggs in water. There are some breeds of frogs that are so poisonous. Frogs usually stay in watery areas but they can also survive over desert or dry places. Do you know that there is a breed of frogs that can climb over a tree? Because of their feet design, they can easily climb over a tree.

The most favorite weather for frogs is rainy weather. In rainy weather they can easily find a lot of food for themselves. They mostly breed in this rainy weather. Mostly you can see, frogs located near the watery places like ponds, lakes etc.  Frogs usually like sweet water, they do not like salty water. They cannot survive in salty water.

There are more than 110 breeds of frogs in Pakistan and neighboring areas. All of these breeds usually eat small insects. As you all know for research purposes, people kill frogs but there are a number of people who use frogs as their favorite dish.
